Privacy and cookies

What we collect

Your account email, your uploaded recordings and everything generated from them (transcripts, flashcards, study guides), and your subscription status. Recordings and study material are private to your account.

Who we share it with

Payments are handled by Stripe, which receives the details needed to take payment. Transcription and study material generation run through our AI provider. Neither receives your data for their own advertising.

Advertising measurement

If you accept cookies, Lectura loads the Google tag from Google Ireland Limited and reports one event to Google Ads when a Premium subscription is paid for: the amount, the currency and a payment reference. This is used for measurement and to improve which people see our ads. We do not send Google your name, email or anything from your recordings.

In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec this only happens after you accept. Elsewhere it is on by default and you can turn it off below. See how Google uses data from sites that use its services.

Your choices

You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time; the change applies straight away. You can also delete your account and everything in it from your account settings.
